A Spiritual Approach to Therapy

Spirituality was my first therapy. When you are a child and you are in emotional pain, and nobody is helping you, you naturally turn to Spirit.

I was fascinated by all things mystical. I remember reading a book about reincarnation as a young teenager and thinking to myself that it just made sense.

I never grew up with religion, but when I matured, and I was able to gather my own information, I grew more and more interested in angels, spirit guides, and the laws of the Universe.

When I was searching for answers to heal myself, I immersed myself in reading all the great spiritual authors. One of the first books I read was Louise Hay's book, You Can Heal Your Life. It expanded my mind to the possibility that we can heal ourselves of physical illness just with the thoughts we think.

Later on I discovered Abraham Hicks and the teachings of the law of attraction. I understood more and more that our thoughts are very powerful.

As an adult I was guided to do yoga and then become a yoga teacher. I found that yoga was also a powerful healing method and that the mind and body are connected.

Little did I know, but all these paths were my training ground to becoming a therapist. I learned that I am really guiding people to heal themselves, because all the answers are between them and a higher power. All healing is really self-healing. When you figure out how to harness the power of your mind, you can change your life.

I love working with clients who want to incorporate a spiritual approach. If you have interests in meditation, the law of attraction, prayer, spirit guides, angels, energy healing, astrology, tarot, psychics, spiritual books and anything else mystical, I welcome you!
